“Out Of My Mind“, the hit single from The Rain Album was recorded at Sound Canada with Greg Hambleton producing and engineering in 1971. The single, featuring Phyllis (Charity) Brown‘s unique rock-blues vocals, was first released by London Records and Bell Records in the States. In 1976 it crossed the Atlantic and became a “Northern Soul” hit in England. Clubs became infatuated with the record and dealers started importing thousands of records from Canada.
