About the Album

THUNDERMUG's ORBIT album was recorded at Manta Sound in Toronto – produced by Gerg Hambleton; engineered and mixed in late 1972 by Dave Greene. It was somewhat of a concept/themed album with songs about alienation, childhood struggles and the band’s difficult road to acceptance by a broader public. Included is their alternate version of “The Investigator” and Bill Durst’s outstanding baroque-inspired “Victoria Muse”. ORBIT has gained fans over time and stands out as one of the most respected works of the 70s rock era.
